Ghostly visitors in the night...;_;

Fri Jul 9, 2004, 1:33 PM
Well, everyone. It's a miserable, rainy day that I choose to darken yours.
No longer are you all secure in the knowledge that there is no monster under your bed, no fiend in your closet, no pervert in your draws...! I'm back (like Tom Jones), and I'm more dim-witted than ever before, ah hyuck. :3
In all seriousness, I have missed you, and I’m glad to finally be back! You have all been so busy! And I see I have a great deal to comment on, so please bear with me. :3

Anyhoo…I have recently been invited to a fancy dress end of year party at my gay friend’s…and sadly, I find myself unable to wrench out of the fact that I MUST go, simply because:

A.) I rarely show that I love my friends.

B.) I don’t think I have a boyfriend ( ;_; Am I so young? )

C.) And most importantly, there will be booze.

The theme is Horror/Fantasy, and I am at a loss of who to go as…X3 I’ve had very few ideas, and most have resulted in me going in nothing but a bloody black apron and a French beret. My mind is as dirty as an incontinent hobo’s underwear, save me from my own wanton desires, please!!!

That aside, the ideas that have not strayed into the frolicking fag (that is a mean word! >_< ) field of no return are:

1.) Severus Snape (Harry Potter):

Oh God, he is such a saucy devil in the movie. X3 (I haven’t taken the time to read the books, save for the first) The fact that I have a strong dislike for the remaining ‘Potter crew seems to make this choice a little ill-favoured…and perhaps the fact that if I did in fact go as the sexy Potions teacher, it may result in me trying to seduce myself for the remainder of the evening, which would undoubtedly lose me both my friends, and whatever dignity I am currently in possession of. Besides, I’m strait as a ruler to most of my friends… Mwehehehe.

2.) William Wonka (Charlie And The Chocolate Factory) - (I think he is fantasy…you wouldn’t see many sweetie-making, bright blue-eyed men who enslaves strange, small, child-hating munchkins around every street corner you walk by, would you?):

He, he! X3 Forgive me! He is just too cute! This choice also would take a great deal of time to manufacture a plum purple shirt and tails, and also, that all-important, hideous copper top hat. So, a silly choice on my part, but it would be fun…Another fault is, I don’t want to seem like that dirty old man who pulls up with his car at the end of deserted alleyways, asking if you would like some sweeties, or to see some puppies. O_x (Ross: Puppies?! Hot DAMN! Where?!)

3.) Jareth the Goblin King (Labyrinth) X3 Oh, David Bowie~! v v v :

I would need to stuff a sock down my trousers, firstly (not that I am lacking there! It’s simply because that is one helluva bulge! Honestly! …)…I also am not too fond of spandex pants. And, to round it all up, I am not masculine enough to pull it off…*Sigh*

4.) Chichiri/Houjun Ri (Fushigi Yuugi):

He’s adorably charming, and his clothing would be quite simple to create…however, there is always the unfortunate presence of that keaton mask, and the fact that I do not have soft blonde, gravity-defying bangs atop my head. Though I could easily dye my hair for the occasion, yes, but I do not think that would do… :]

5.) Jack Pumpkinhead (Return To Oz/ Ozma of Oz):

I would spoil before I had seen anything of the world! This would be easy to make, I believe. :3 The fact that very few people will know who I am poses quite a problem, very much like my choice of Chichiri. Sigh…

6.) Count D (Petshop of Horrors):

I would have to borrow my friend's chinese garments...she would personally make my life a living Hell if I were to pose the question to her. X3 Plus, I would have to wear lip gloss... X3 I can imagine myself doing so, but after a few good beatings so I would not be in the right frame of mind to truly _enjoy_ it. Der her!

7.) Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare On Elm Street) (Though I would say this is more of a comedy, rather than a horror…x_o):

I like this choice very muchly! X3 I could run around, whipping people with a wet towel, poke them irksomely with my poorly manufactured claw, and refer to the majority of people by the name, ‘Biotch’, deliberately mispronouncing to retain the original mind-set of everyone’s favourite homicidal caretaker.

Oh, yes. There were also other choices ‘thought-up’ by my wonderful elder siblings:

1.) One of the two priests from ‘The Exorcist’:

I have never seen the Exorcist, and I wouldn’t know how to make myself seem like any different to any other priest, really…

2.) Jack Sparrow (POTC):

It would be nice, of course, but I haven’t the facial hair, essential hair length, and the access to the money in which to buy so many pretty clothes.

3.) Count Dracula (Dracula?) :

I would love to, just to avoid the hassle, but my friend has already chosen this. Dern it all.

4.) Lestat/Louis (An Interview With A Vampire):

I would also love to do so, but I believe the clothing would be difficult to unearth, yes? :3

5.) Spotty (SuperTed):

No, no, NO! >_< *Stamps foot like a four-year-old in a long shopping market queue*

Well, I suppose I have a little while to think about it. Thank you. :3

Oh, oh yes! Last night I sat down to watch a horror/thriller movie on my own, as I had to stay and look after the family dog rather that socialise with the world outside our dearest home. Besides, I was all cuddled up with some alcho-pops, and I had taken our dog (I shall not state her unworldly name…x_o) for one of my incredibly long walks, and with feet blistered, and bones fatigued, I found that I would not be able to flee in terror if I were to watch anything too frightening for me. (x_o I scare easily, no…? )

Well, after hearing such good things of ‘Hellraiser’, I thought that I should ultimately watch it. After all, since I was little, and going to the video shop for the latest Transformer film (Okay! I lied…it was the Care Bears. X3 All joking aside, I hope I never did watch those things…o_0) I would often see a video case with a forbidding man on the cover, with pockmarks of blood in his ashen skin, and pins snugly fitting at the intersections of flesh. I always wanted to know what he was, so I thought it was about time I disregard my childhood reminiscences, and stick the damn thing in the recorder! :3
Well, after watching god-knows how many minutes of nonsensical, plot-less atrocities, and eventual crap storyline on the screen, I noticed that this Hellraiser wasn’t all what I had expected. x_o Well, I also found out that it was, in truth, Hellraiser 2. (Darn it! Tony lied to me, that son of a monkey’s arse! X3) Perhaps the original Hellraiser is somewhat better…? Oh well…I also managed to watch ‘The Entity’, which admittedly, was a little unsettling…after all, I was in the house on my own, in the dark. If you have seen the film I suppose you will know what I’m babbling mindlessly about. :3 I’m a big baby, I know…you needn’t rub it in~!
Feh. When I _did_ finally get to sleep, I seemed to have turned myself to face my bedroom wall (I am a very particular, and light sleeper. X_o), and when I woke myself with a start, in the heart of the night, I believe that I saw a countenance in the wall…it was like a broken porcelain doll’s face, in short, purely a pale face and black eye sockets. I am sure it was just my mentality playing games with me, and also the fact that I had been drinking...but still, I was certain that my drunken eyes saw it. Naively, I got a little curious, and leaned in… and whacked my head into the wall, and then I fell back, dazed in my pillow for a good while. X_o I sure saw stars that night!

Oh, I am sorry…! I’ve gone off on a tangent. I am sorry to bore you if you have read this far…thank you. <:3
